A DISAPPOINTING START TO OUR OUTING TO MINEHEAD ON WEDNESDAY 5 OCTOBER

Heavy rain spoiled our minibus trip along the north coast to Minehead, visibility very poor. However once we got there, the weather cleared and we had some sunshine for most of the time. As usual, our next step was for coffee or other refreshment before a walk-about in the main shopping area spotting the Minehead metal heads and finding somewhere nice for lunch. A pleasant day in good company. We had a pleasant drive along the sea front before setting off home. Our return trip the same way was very pleasant and we saw a number of the Exmoor ponies.
